Glacier Peak

Volcano Status: Dormant.
Age/Last Eruption: Oldest eruptions on record began 13,100 years ago. Two pyroclastic layers, deposited about 11,250 years ago, extend 500-600 miles (800-1,000 km) to the east. The last eruption occurred about 200-300 years ago.
Peak Elevation: 10,539 feet (3,213 meters).
Volcano Type/Deposits: Stratovolcano. Composed predominantly of andesite lava, dacite lava, and pyroclastic deposits.
